Krool Toys is a New York based creative studio founded by Tia Chinai and Stefan Cohen. Regarded as a “cutting-edge brand builder” by trend forecasting company WGSN and featured in outlets such as Complex, Hypebeast and Rolling Stone, Krool Toys aims to seamlessly fuse culture with commerce to create pieces with value, meaning and longevity. Krool Toys first gained notoriety in 2019 creating handmade collectibles catering to the growing interest in secondary designed artist merchandise and creative offline activities. Their creations have been seen and appreciated by everyone from Playboi Carti and Takashi Murakami to Aminé and the late Pop Smoke.

Krool Toys released their first playable video game in December 2020 to critical acclaim. A collaboration between the boutique creative studio and Atlantic Records led to the creation of a GameBoy game adaption of Lil Uzi Vert & Future’s joint release Pluto x Baby Pluto. The retro inspired game saw over 50,000 plays, hundreds of thousands of cross platform views on the promo video as well organic press pick up by Complex, Hypebeast Japan, XXL and more. More recently, Krool Toys designed and co-created an original card based drinking game with the groundbreaking rapper Rico Nasty. The original release titled “Would You Leave Him” sold out so quickly that they created a second edition titled “Would You Leave Her”. Both versions of the game are now available to purchase online.

Krool Toys also collaborated with 300 Entertainment to design and produce a run of custom Tarot Cards for artist Gunna. When paired with the companion Instagram AR filter the cards play Gunna’s song and reveal a 3D spinning logo.  Both variations of the cards as well as a reorder sold out from his online store. Since their start in 2019 they have produced an eclectic array of products and experiences aimed at exploring the ever evolving relationship between consumer goods, art and entertainment. Their releases merge hype, drop culture and nostalgia and often encourage participation, creative physical activities and rituals.
